"Joe and I had a wonderful stay at The Shed. The space and size were perfect and exactly what we were looking for in a English countryside cottage stay. The bed was comfortable. We spent plenty of time in the cozy living room reading and relaxing. The kitchen was serviceable. The heaters took a bit of time to get going but they put out plenty of heat to keep the space warm. "On the downside the heating was a little hit and miss! Floors were very noisy and the blind cords very flimsy. The frontdoor was difficult to close from the outside. Some interesting features for younger people but older visitors would appreciate more comfortable armchairs. Having said all that we did enjoy our stay."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."

"Absolutely perfect weekend away with good friends. Such amazing facilities, the swimming pool is absolutely first class as is the dry sauna and steam room. We could not get enough of it! The games room with the air hockey and arcade game machine is a lovely touch too. Bedrooms and en suite beautiful and clean and the hosts/owners were so very pleasant and helpful and always there if we needed them. All in all I cannot rate this place highly enough and we will definitely be staying again!"

"My Husband and I stayed in one of the converted stables and our friends stayed in one of the shepherds huts. We all absolutely loved our stay here. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was perfectly clean. Meeting all the farm animals was an extra bonus too. Sipping champagne in the late afternoon sun pre party time watching the ponies in the field was delightful. Jo was so friendly and made us all feel very welcome.
