The property has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, with attention to detail, and the owner and her staff are friendly and helpful. We'd particularly like to commend Neria for being so kind and helpful. It was also lovely to be able to enjoy home-made breakfast food around a big table with other guests. A lovely place to stay! "Great location by the Canal du Midi, which has a cycle route alongside. We cycled in both directions, and another day took the bikes by car to cycle further away. Also good access to Carcassonne and supermarkets by car. Comfortable gite, looks just like the photos. Enough kitchen equipment and a three-ring induction hob for eating in. "This property though simple was an excellent value. Rooms were clean. Parking was plentiful. Included breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the fortress. The only downside was the laundry. With only one machine with a very small drum and many long-term residents, I would not count on the machine's availability. If you need to do laundry, there is a very good commercial one about a half-mile from the hotel. "
