"Our room was in amongst renovated farm buildings, rustic on the outside but nice and well appointed inside. There was a pool. It was set in wooded hills a few miles from Sarlat. Peaceful and beautiful. The reception and restaurant were in a seperate building a couple of kilometers away. Access was by a one way system of narrow roads. The setup was unusual but enjoyable. We ate outdoors every evening and the cuisine was great. We would go again if visiting this area."

They advised us on where to eat and even booked some restaurants for us as well as advising us on good places to visit in the vicinity. The property is beautifully renovated and incredibly stylishly presented but feels relaxed and comfortable. Our room really was lovely. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"Sarlat is a great place from which to explore the Dordogne and you won't find a better place to stay than O Claire de Lune. Breakfasts included home baked bread and pastries and one day Crepe! We will recommend to all our friends for both this place and the region."
