"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"Owner exhibited no interest in our stay. Too busy with film crew even to help out with power cut. Not even in country on arrival. I had to contact local Marie to obtain his phone number to point out he hadn't sent us any info on where the cottage was. Even then the inadequate info sent us the day before we left for France sent us to the wrong "WHITE GATES" (not even visible from road). No welcome pack, just a note in kitchen warning us of £250 Euro fine if we didn't do the washing up on...

"Nous avons été très bien a accueillis par Tiffany qui nous a donner toutes les instructions concernant la maison. Le livret d’accueil fourni en parallèle est idéal ! Tout y est. The property is beautifully renovated and everything is provided that you could want. Even a couple of bikes to pop to the boulangerie in the morning. Guy was very helpful regarding some local information and considerate for our comfort. The location was perfect for exploring Chambord . We highly recommend this cottage and would love to return."

"A comfortable, clean, charming escape, with country quiet, proximity to Loire Valley castles, and food shopping. Bucolic and perfectly landscaped, with welcoming hosts. Two small things: (1) a surprise 75 euro cleaning fee on top of vrbo charges (announced after confirmation/deposit) and (2) no Wi-Fi or phone service (the owner is addressing this)."
