"Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. "The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. The spacious bedrooms of the house and views of the countryside are beautiful. There are stairs to negotiate, and having a vehicle is helpful. "

"Just amazing property Lucca was lovely. The road leading to the house was no joke its really off-road. I had a rubbish car and it made it but you need to have some vague confidence. Pizza night organised was really enjoyable had a smashing time. Id say the house is definitely child safe but for a really active 1 year old we found ourselves constantly having to monitor him every second he was awake. "Gloria was a lovely, welcoming host who was very accommodating when we arrived late due to an accident on the road. The property was clean and well equipped for our needs in an excellent location. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t that good when we were there but we were able to drive to Pisa and Lucca for day trips. Our last day was sunny so we headed to the beach which was lovely and not too busy at this time of year. My only note would be that the single bed in the attic room is quite small...

"The hotel was good and the location was excellent, a few minutes away from the tower. I arrived at 1plus pm, however it was closed and had to wait till 3pm to be checked in. The checked in was smooth and the staff was great. It would be great if the reception is open from 1pm to 3pm. The room was big and great, however O only have one complaint, the tv was ridiculously small to my liking. Overall my stay was excellent!"

"The process of booking was easy from start to finish and the hotel liaised with us prior to arrival to ensure our arrival was smooth. We were welcomed by a friendly, helpful and informative receptionist. Booking in was easy. We were provided with a leaflet with a local area map and restaurant recommendations. We visited the one, particularly recommended by the member of staff and had an excellent meal which was slso great value for money. We were shown to our room and shown how to activate the lights in the room. Our room was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. It had a private bathhroom, safe, coffee making facilities and a fridge. We could see the roof of the Baptistry from our window. There was no option for breakfast but there was a lovely cafe across the square where we bought breakfast. Luggage can be left at the hotel as well. Great location close to the Piazza Miracoli with excellent facilities and fantastic staff. I would definitely come back. Thank you. "
