"This property should never be offered for rent. Our lives were in danger just driving up the narrow roads to arrive at the property. Once we finally did arrive we returned to the base of the mountain extremely stressed without staying the night. VRBO should not be representing this property nor should any other broker of rentable properties."

La Capanna - Podere Consani. A little corner of paradise.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Podere Consani despite the weather not always being cooperative during our stay. The location was very quiet and had beautiful views. It was only a 12 to15 min. drive to the centre of Lucca. Susan was prompt at communication and was attentive to any needs we had on our visit. We enjoyed being able to see the olives being harvested. "Diese Unterkunft kann in diesem Zustand nicht vermietet werden. Die Unterkunft riecht total modrig und nach Schimmel, sodass es gesundheitlich sehr bedenklich ist. Außerdem ist kein einziges gemütliches Plätzchen in dieser ganzen Unterkunft, alles sehr lieblos und “verstaubt”. "This is a truly beautiful house with long views down to Lucca and olive groves all around. It is well-furnished and we slept really soundly. Massimo, the host, is extremely gracious and offers many great ideas for local activities and day trips, and once you find it the local supermarket is very well stocked. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
