"Did not email access code as promised. No AC as promised. No sheets or blankets only a bare matress. No towels for hire, so no shower. Over a busy noisy road. When I aseld for access code to get in staff was rude and said it was after 8pm (i followed the check in instructions on expedia) so they shouldnt have to let me in. Would not provide basic needs of the stay or honor their contract. Staff then said that I should owe them money for bothering them and asking for the basic necessities of a...

"Our stay at Villa Alba d'Oro was amazing! We came with our wedding group for a week and even after reading the amazing reviews, the hosts Alessio and Martina, still managed to far exceed our expectations. They ordered my family a taxi to the Naples airport 3 separate times (due to us changing our minds and flight changes) and were never annoyed or rude about it. They were very professional and polite. Our rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommend. "

Luxury near train station

"Steps from the train station, absolutely awesome location. The best looking hotel near the train station. We were on the third floor which gave us an excellent view of mount Vesuvius and the train station. We paid extra for the buffet breakfast, but it was well worth it. The food, the service and the ambiance was first class. "

Good and bad during our stay.

"The HOTEL itself was wonderful, but the amazing amount of noise from the traffic and the police wailing sirens were crazy!! And that part of town was kind of seedy, dirty .. the sidewalks in front were litter strewn, and you take your life into your own hands crossing the streets!! These two things surprised us. One more thing ... we informed the front desk that we wanted to go to the Royal Palace at Caserta, and did so that next day .. once there we found out the entire place was CLOSED on Tuesdays!! ALWAYS! This WOULD have been GREAT if the staff had informed us of this AHEAD of time, so as to not WASTE an entire morning on trains!! 😡😡 We only were able to salvage our entire day by redirecting our efforts to another place and went to Herculanium!! The hotel, once inside was well kept, the attending service people beyond nice and capable, and breakfast was AMAZING!!"
