She lives about a mile away, she was not intrusive but was helpful on check in (she physically lead us to the house as not all roads are passable in a normal size car), she texted us when there was a planned powercut coming up etc. Her English is immaculate. The house location is stunning - the photos on the listing do not do justice to the mountain view from the living room and patio. Easy access to the lovely sandy beaches within 5 miles. We were able to go to Pisa a couple of times with all its history worth a visit. "The house was lovely, as described - and our landlords were lovely and uncomplicated people - although we had a language barrier, we had no problem communicating and they assisted us even when we had troubles with our car -which really is not their job!"

"Beautiful well appointed flat in the middle of Lucca! Steps away from all of th sites and sounds of the city! Kitchen, terrace, bedrooms /bathrooms were all pristine! Only complaint was contractors on scaffolding right outside the terrace and kitchen windows…..and the elevator was out of service for a 5th floor flat. A pre-arrival notification would have been appreciated as we would have attempted to find an alternate location without the walk up."
