"Max hotel was too far from the centre and we couldn’t get a taxi. The actual hotel was quite good though, the breakfast, the staff and it had parking. Maybe in the peak time there would me more taxis ang going into the centre wouldn’t be a problem"

"Excellent location for the tower, duomo and exploring the city. Good choices for food and drink too. Hotel is pleasant, but a little tired in places. Generally well kept and staff were helpful. Black mould in shower (on edges and also in the shower jets), jacuzzi/ bubbles in bath did not work. Otherwise very clean room, so let down by this oversight."

"The reception employee was very hospitable, his name Martel(?),guide us to the lodging location."

"Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ilaria. Your staff were always polite, cheerful and helpful. The snacks and prosecco in the hotel meant that we spoke to fellow guests and a very happy atmosphere was generated. The hotel was close to everything in Lucca that we wanted to see."

"The night manger Oni from Bangladesh was really helpful, friendly and cooperative. The arabic guy in the morning shift wasn’t cooperative at all. He need to learn how to treat guests. Overall, the stay was the amazing. Location of the hotel was just behind Pisa tower"

"We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely choose this hotel again the next time we are in town. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! Situated almost perfectly center between the tower and the airport. It sits beside a nice piazza, right by the train station and at the end of a wonderful shopping street with the best of international and local shopping options. Dining options are less plentiful but within 1km walk, you so many great options. "
