"Our family of five had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The property is clean, well maintained, updated with appliances, and just beautiful. We did it all, hiked the short easy trails, fished (catch and release only), had a fire in the fire pit, grilled, and enjoyed the peaceful scenery on the porch. The ducks were so cute and friendly. We had a few questions the first full day, and Katie was quick to respond. We ventured out to Daingerfield State Park and had an amazing time there! The kitchen is well equipped for anything you need! Pro tip: bring a few paper plates along. The dishes work great but for our family we had to wash quite a bit. The grill is very nice too—another pro tip: bring a lighter :) it was so fun and we would love to return for another stay! Thank you so much to the lovely hosts!
