Private Cabin Getaway- Long Range Mountain View’s!

Beautiful cozy cabin in Western NC with year round mountain views. This cabin is located on a private peaceful lot with plenty of space for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. It features 2 full bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, family room, dining room and a full kitchen with breakfast bar. Each bedroom has its own full private bathroom. The cabin can comfortably sleep 6-8 guests. Master bedroom has a king size bed and electric stove fireplace, and guest bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a futon couch in main living area with another electric log fireplace. Also features a full kitchen with a breakfast bar for added seating for meals, etc. There is also an extra couch in downstairs family room and some cots for sleeping a few more.


There are 2 very large decks upper and lower for sitting around and enjoying the year round mountain views! The upper deck has a full charcoal smoker grill that is large enough for dinner for 10 or more. Also, on the upper deck is a patio table and 6 chairs for dinners, drinks, games, etc..
Lower deck has a couple of rocking chairs that are perfect for a morning cup of coffee and right outside master bedroom.

There is so much to do in the area from whitewater rafting, kyaking, fishing, hiking, ziplining, horseback riding, or site seeing all the beautiful waterfalls in the area. The cabis is just a few miles from all the action! It is also located just minutes away from the new Harrah s Casino if you like gambling or go for a drive or motorcycle ride on the famous Tail of the Dragon which is also just a few miles away. Or go for a dip at a swimming hole at base of one of the falls called Bust your Butt Falls.

There are several lakes in the area where you can swim or rent a boat or pontoon. The boat rental places also rent tubes, skis, and kyaks! Or take a scenic ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad! All of these great things are anywhere from 5 mins to 30 mins away!
There are 3 TVs, DVD Player, surround system, movies, games, etc. All linens, towels, kichen utensils are furnished. Nothing to bring except food and clothes!

Notes: This cabin is located up Zekes Trail, a private road and subdivision. The cabin is located at about 2000 ft. elevation up a gravel road and are steep in areas. Vehicles should be put into Lo Drive and keep a constant speed of 10-15 mph as needed. Avoid stopping and spinning of wheels and follow posted road signs. No Motorcycles, No Trailers, No ATVs, and No RVs permitted.

Great views
Great cozy cabin to stay in, couldn't ask for better views. There is a cabin close to you but you feel secluded the way the cabin is facing. Road to cabin is not to bad there is one sharp curve but we made it in a mini van so no big deal. Cabin was the best well stocked cabin we have ever stayed at and again great views.

Wonderful cabin with a great view, nice central location for day trips to Bryson city, Helen Ga., and rafting on the nantahala. We also ran to Chattanooga 1 day for the Tennessee aquarium.

Relaxing location with a beautiful view
We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had been able to stay longer. The view was beautiful. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked. Everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Splendid Getaway
This was an awesome cabin for a week long getaway. The views have to be close to the best in North Carolina. The owners, John and Hollie, were responsive and accommodating. Our trip was a great family memory maker and this cabin was a splendid home base.

Birthday Surprise
We loved the views from this beautiful, very well maintained cabin! The location is remote and very peaceful and quiet. We were able to see all the wonderful fall leaves that had changed and the long range mountain views were incredible! The hosts were very responsive and do a great job. Our stay made my Wife's 50th Birthday a very happy experience.

Best view and a lovely home
We wanted a relaxing trip with a great view and that's what we got. The cabin was finished as nice as can be and I'm used to staying in higher-end hotels. We sat on the porch and looked out at the view and talked and laughed. I'm planning to go back when I can!

Great time at the cabin. A very relaxing trip and views you don’t get easily. The cabin is well-maintained and the owners’ attention to detail is great. A lot to do and see any direction you go. Would do it again.

Quick mountain getaway
From booking to check out, this property has been phenomenal! The provided photographs of the listing are accurate. The views can’t be beat! This is such a cozy little property, and you won’t be disappointed. We did prepare a few meals and found the kitchen to be nicely appointed. Bedding was extremely comfortable and how are cozy. Excellent Wi-Fi. Will definitely come back again. This is a nice base for exploring all of western North Carolina.

My husband and I recently stayed at this beatiful cabin for a long weekend. This cabin has everything you need but most of all the view is spectacular! We really enjoyed just stirring I. Fantastic Easter 2024 weekend getaway
My husband and I wanted a peaceful weekend getaway, centrally located in the area of Murphy and Bryson City, with long range views and this cabin was the perfect choice! John and Hollie have equipped this outstanding home with all the comforts of your own home. The first floor master suite with sitting area was all we needed for comfort. The king sized bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. There are 3 full baths in this home! We found this home exactly as described and had no trouble accessing it. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch and just gazing out at the fantastic mountain views. We plan to return frequently and will make this cabin our go to place to always stay. Thank you John And Hollie for providing a wonderful cabin for guests to stay.

Amazing View
I wish we could have stayed longer but really enjoyed our vacation getaway. John and Hollie sent a message the day before and let us know if we needed anything to feel free to contact them. House was clean and beautiful. Love the coffee bar and view is absolutely the best. The driveway is a little rough and need use 4wheel drive but not too bad. There is a ramp on side we needed since husband is in wheelchair so that was also a plus. Ramp is a little steep and need to make sure behind and in front of wheelchair to guide/push for safety up and down but manageable. It was nice to sit and enjoy coffee with the mountain view. Highly recommend this cabin All pictures are exactly what you will see if you choose as a getaway for vacation.

Peace and Tranquility
We’ve used VRBO for many cabins in the area; this one does not disappoint; Not only does it have a zen-like view, but it’s location offers supreme backyard privacy; The town of Murphy is right down the road with quick access to food / items that may have been forgotten; Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the first floor / basement accommodation: kept us wondering if they were still with us.. ;)

Great View
The view and the house is even better than the photos in the listing. Its a really nice view of the Snowbird Mountains. We were very comfortable here and found the kitchen well stocked with cookware. The layout was really ideal for my kids. The "man cave" downstairs was a big hit with boys. This is a good location for paddling the Nantahala. The road in is a bit steep, but not a problem in 2wd in our SUV even when wet from rain. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The cabin was amazing! It looked better in person than the pictures. Super clean. The view was breathtaking. You do need a 4x4 however for big views you will always need a 4x4.. The owners were nice and helpful. Thank you

Rest and renewal
We booked this home last minute in an effort to escape noisy hotels. Andrews was our last stop on our 7 day vacation with our grandsons ages 14 and 10. We were not disappointed. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, great internet and tv. Best of all was the quietness with just the sounds of nature. The owners stayed in touch checking to see if everything was to our liking. We will definitely stay again. Thanks so much John and Hollie.

This property has amazing views while sitting on the porch sipping coffee.The hosts are very good at responding quickly to any questions you may have.The only issue was We could not get the DVD player to play on the TV.

Amazing views!
We loved this cabin! It was fully stocked----extra blankets, pillows, Q-tips and cotton balls in the bathrooms, plenty of towels, kitchen had everything you need---there were even condiments in the fridge! I really appreciated all of the nice touches. There are two bedrooms and two large living spaces (on separate levels) which was great for us since our 16 month old was with us. Views are outstanding! Property manager was very responsive and even provided me with travel times to different destinations when asked. Would absolutely stay again!
