"The hotel is lovely & check-in was very smooth. We did not realise, however, the hotel was closing on the Sunday & although we can appreciate staff looking forward to their holidays, service was quite lax (not unpleasant, just staff were mainly absent, something unexpected from a 5 Star hotel, where in every other area, they excelled) - this was both in the bar, in the restaurant; breakfast service, however, was excellent I do believe if we had known the hotel was closing, we would have changed...

"Truly a wonderful stay from (early) check in to check out. The front staff is so kind and fluent in English which was very helpful to me. The location could not be better. Steps from the boardwalk and beach. Countless cafes within a 5 minute walk, Old Town only 10-15 min away. An easy Uber to and from the bus station. About $7 each way. I will most certainly be back. "

"Great centrally located hotel between the sea front and the old town. Ideal for exploring for a few days on foot. We did some 25,000 steps per day, enjoyed the culture, food and drinks. "

"Upon arrival the lobby and room was filled with strong smell from scented candles which I had an allergic reaction to. I notified the staff about this and requested a refund and I would go to another hotel but they refused to do so. However they did make a effort and removed the candles which was helpful and appreciated making the stay enjoyable "
