"A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good."

"We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at Craig Appin. The hotel is situation is a stunning spot, and the rooms are beautiful. We had a freshly prepared meal served in the dining room in the evening which was delicious, just like the breakfast and tea we had in the beautiful garden. "Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak."
