"The hosts are amazing. We felt right at home at this lovely hotel. The family did their outmost best to make our stay comfortable. The owner namal is very helpful in arranging anything you need such as transportation or tours for very reasonable prices. "A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good."

"Royal Majesty Bungalow was the most unique place we stayed on our 20 day trip through Sri Lanka. "We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at Craig Appin. The hotel is situation is a stunning spot, and the rooms are beautiful. We had a freshly prepared meal served in the dining room in the evening which was delicious, just like the breakfast and tea we had in the beautiful garden. The service was second to none and when we’re back in Sri Lanka we will definitely be going back to Craig Appin! "

"Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak."

"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. They did offer up accomodation at another resort, however it was far inferior and had poor reviews. This then meant that rather than relaxing and enjoying our final day in Sri Lanka, we had to pack up and move to different accommodation for the final night. What made the whole experience worse was that rather than issuing me a full refund promptly, the manager Jayomi took a long time to resolve the issue fully and has ultimately left me out of pocket. The accomodation itself was beautiful, but it was a very disappointing way to end the trip. Particularly given the way it was handled so poorly with management and Expedia. "
