This location was very convenient for us: not far from Medical Exam Facility and around 10 minutes driving from U.S. Embassy. Hotel has good disability access and breakfast as a great option. "The Templer in is a fabulous place. The location is on a quiet street. And is a few steps away from The First Station and it’s many fine restaurants. You can walk off lunch or dinner by strolling through Train Track Park. The walk to the Old City is 10-15. The Templer Inn’s architecture is unique. The breakfast is wonderful! "This hotel was the house of the grandparents of the owner. She is very sweet and tells you the history of the building and of her family. The hotel has only six rooms, and is therefore very special and different from a large-box hotel. It is extremely clean and the room was perfect, and in a residential, interesting neighborhood. "The location is absolutely incredible! (Especially if you are a frum/Orthodox Jew, this was centrally located and walking distance from everything: the Kotel, Ben Yehuda, etc.) The only downside is that there was a lot of music outside Friday night and no air-conditioning in the two bedrooms. "The entry is a dirty street but the place is nice. The men running it are helpful and friendly. I recommend this place . The only thing it’s missing is laundry facilities and outlets in the lobby .The laundry is thru the alley across the street and only takes coins so I had a challenge finding a place as I was using cc but I’d stay there again . "I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries.
