"We stayed in the apartment (619) for 5 days and enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean, 3 good-sized bedrooms with king beds, 2 large bathrooms, kitchen with everything you need to make dinner/breakfast, and family room. Great option for families or a group of friends. Easy walk to bus stop. Ski buses are very reliable and easy! Note that breakfast is not included for apartment and no access to pool or other areas of the hotel. We found a great alternative at the Alpen Hotel Plaza (50 euro) which gave us access to spa, saunas, pools (indoor and out) and jacuzzis and included snacks. Perfect option after ending ski day in Selva! Close to market (got our stuff for breakfast here) and lots of restaurants and shopping. Great location and would stay here again."

"As others have said, the apartment is in a great location. Walking distance to the lifts, restaurants and other amenities. Very clean apartment with comfortable beds. The apartment was roomy and very comfortable. The host met us at the small church at St. Anthony square and accompanied us to the apartment. This was very helpful."

"An amazing stay right on the town square in Ortisei. Beautiful historic property but service and food surpassed expectations - half board is highly recommended and excellent value. Service was top level at both reception and the restaurant (Sisi was our favourite!). Junior suite was large enough for family of 4 and housekeeping was excellent. Spa treatments (at their partner hotel) were also exceptional. The stay surpassed our exceptions and highly recommended."

"We loved the place, EXCEPT for an absolute deal breaker—Not Enough Hot Water For Even ONE Person to Shower. Fine for two (no more), and really appreciated the design and build quality. So it was an incredible disappointment to find out that, if we wanted to shower, we had to set the water level at “chinese water torture” and rush, rush, rush. I don’t need fancy, but I do need the basics: comfortable bed (check), good refrigeration (check) and a good shower (NO, NO, NO!). We NEVER would have stayed there had we known that the hot water supply (supposedly about 20 gallons) Never once gave us enough hot water to shower. And I think I know why. This is in the Dolomites, which is where the water comes from. Dolomite is magnesium calcium carbonate. So if the water heater is not cleaned out every year, it will collect mineral residue that diminishes the water capacity. I suspect the owner has not maintained the water heater properly. I have a 50 gallon water heater at home in the States. It is always fine for two people to take long showers, back to back. So do I believe that there is 20 gallons of water in the tank at the loft? I do not. Even one person showering must hurry hurry hurry through it, because (even if it’s set on a trickle) it will run out before you can get clean. If it hadn’t been for that 100% fatal flaw, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place. But without being able to shower without freezing, I have to say “stay away.”"

"The family and staff of Rainelle are so welcoming and delightful. The Silent Room with the incredible view of the mountains was a special experience that sets this hotel above the rest. The rooms are especially large and comfortable. There is a taxi stand in town that we took one evening after dinner since the bus had stopped running, to avoid the long walk up the hill. We walked the hill twice and it is challenging but totally doable if you are in decent shape. We are in our early 60s and in the area to hike so it didn't bother us too much."
