"Enjoyed all but the last day when a storm caused a power outage. It was getting cold inside, so we left a day early. The host was very nice and kept contacting the power company and updating us. She told us we could have a free night on a stay at a later date."

"We came for a crafting event at the end of June. The house is lovely and is “off the beaten path” which was fine with us. The owners were very responsive to some requests and had products delivered while we were there. The AC is not centralized but there are units in every room. We would stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay. House is a little aged but it being right on the lake was great. Driveway is a little steep but we had a four wheel drive truck. Wish you had a cleaning station for fish but all in all we had a great trip. "

"We were in town for an Outdoor Scholar's parent’s weekend at the University of Montevallo and this place was perfect!! Great location, comfortable beds, easy access, and sweet snacks waiting for us when we got there! It’s just like the pictures, but better!! I’m hoping it will be available when we come visit our college kid in the future so we can stay here again!! "
