"It’s always a pleasure staying at one of Stewart’s properties. He makes check-in easy and can be available at a moments notice. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need for cooking, including a whole variety of spices. The beds were comfortable. One warning: Two people cannot take showers at the same time… LOL…. We learned the hard way. But that is definitely not a reason to not stay in this lovely home. Everything is comfortable while decorated and homey. I will always recommend one of Stewart’s properties to anyone I know traveling in the Montevallo area."

"The home and property are beautiful. The sounds of the river and creek are so peaceful. There is a railway nearby and we enjoyed the sounds of the trains as well. We spent the majority of our time on the covered porch. The thing I enjoyed most was the fireflies. I haven’t seen any in years so it was a special treat."

"The house setup is great. We enjoyed sitting on the covered decks with a great view overlook the Waxahatchie. The flat top grill was a big hit. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great location ."
