We sent a couple of messages with questions before and during our stay, but never received a response so communication wasnt great but I'd highly recommend either way. House is close to others so not overly private but the bar withing 100 yards away made up for that."

"We were in the area for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep and unwind. Definitely small but served our needs - the driveway is extremely steep. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues I would not recommend this property. Beds are very firm - couch was more comfortable! All in all it worked fine and was lovely to be on the water."

"We had a lovely and relaxing stay at this cabin. The decor was lovely and made it truly feel like a cabin at a lake. It’s well stocked with decent cooking pans and utensils. Also lots of board games which came in handy during a rain storm. My father grew up in the area and we came to see the area again. "A great hostess! Big two-story house on the lake with plenty of room for parking. (Map directions out in advance because cell coverage is weak or nonexistent, but house has wifi.) Colorful fall trees. Easy walking area. Walked to the dam, the campground, the scout camp, etc. Took kayaks out for a quick paddle. Enjoyed watching the herons and eagles on the lake. Master upstairs bed-bath suite is immense, with shower. Second bathroom upstairs is only a tub — no shower. Watch out for odd step...

"We absolutely loved staying at cabin #3! Communication was top notch, there was some road construction going on that we were made aware of from the owners, with a detailed route around it prior to arrival. We were blown away by the cleanliness of the cabin - Along with many fun, eclectic antiques that all had a story to tell. Really enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view of the ice covered lake. Looking forward to pinning down a stay for summer!"

"Norm and Sue are wonderfull people. So glad we got to talk a little before I went off hiking. Wife and son did some fishing and relaxed in cabin while I hiked and I did same after hiking both days. All in all was a very pleasent stay. I would recommend to all. "
