"The owner was great and very responsive to any needs we had. My husband, his brother, my sister-in-law and myself, are all late 60's early 70's. Property might not be ideal for some people our age because of uneven flooring. The layout is a bit funky, but such a great location. The front porch is a lovely place to sit and watch wildlife. The outdoor shower turned out to be great fun. The beds were so comfortable, but I would suggest to this owner to go out and purchase new bedding. The bedding...

"Cabin on the Creek exceeded expectations. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and cheery! Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with all the supplies and utensils we needed. Added bonus was a working (gas) fireplace that was welcome on the cold days. We enjoyed the view of the woods and creek; and the seclusion. "

"This was a good location that was central to neighboring towns. We were a family with children. The house accommodated most of our needs. The one thing I would suggest is at least a 2nd tv. With 10 people and some were children it was limited to what and when we shared the tv. House was clean and great communication with host. "

We did have two suggestions that might improve the stay. Our group included some elderly adults with balance and walking issues. The backyard had some lovely but for seniors challenging natural stones steps that were hard to navigate. Handrails would be helpful. "We chose this property because of the number of twin beds. We had 7 ladies in our group. Some of the rooms were small, but we made do. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities. Location is central to all places in the Leelanau Peninsula."
