"We absolutely loved our experience at this guest house. First of all the host really helped us to find our way to the place and when we arrived he assisted us in checking in quickly. The house looked as depicted in the picture and with all the amenities we needed. I cannot forget to mention also how the linen were clean plus the general house."

"This place was so amazing and quiet to stay.I was so impressed by their selection of sheet and how they felt on my skin .The rooms were big and very clean.They have mosquito repellant so mosquitos can’t get in. Overall I give it a 10 and would recommend "

"So nice to see toilet lid on the ground behind the toilet, the toilet that did not flush was wonderful, broken tiles on outside of tub were a great part of bathroom, tub from Aincent rome, light imfixture in room was nice but a bulb in it would have been nicer, broken tv,no remote wonderful . Restaurant just as nice,very dark...which was good so you did not see how old run down and dirty it was. The mutton i ordered was just empty ones and scraps of meat. Funny part it only took 45 minutes to get it and then the girl came and said your mutton is ready ..that's nice why not bring it to me ?? Ordered a beer got cider.. they were out of beer but offered to get it...got tired of waiting almost an hour so I got water and 15 minutes later the beer came.. seriously total crap service.. screw this i left after 1 night . DO NOT STAY HERE .MY OPINION IS IT NEEDS TO BE TOWN DOWN AND REBUILT.. THE PLACE IS BEYOND REPAIR. "

"Apart from it been a good hotel what stood out for me was the friendliest and welcoming staff from the management to the cleaners they were absolutely brilliant, Jacinta,Hilda,Mekane,Christine,Rose, Yvonne and Alphonse the security guy all amazing,thank you all I'll will miss your warm friendship, the Mavvel is a excellent hotel be it for business or a tourist like me i really do highly recommend a stay here, oh and great breakfast, restaurant and bar and hope to visit again when in Embu, thanks guys you're all amazing."
