"This house was amazing for our Costa Rica trip! Groups of monkeys passed through the treetops everyday, so nonstop entertainment for a family from the US. The house was also spacious with air conditioned bedrooms. Its location in Manuel Antonio was perfect. You can walk to the restaurants, shops, grocery store and beach. Walking is a bit difficult with the tiny roads and hills, but doable. I would recommend renting a 4 wheel drive so you can drive to Espadilla Beach, which was much easier...

"Spent three nights in Manuel Antonio with our three boys (all under 9). Spacious home with amazing views of both mountains and the Pacific. Neighboring Macaws were fun to watch over morning coffee. Close to everything you need. Host was great with communication and with recommending and organizing excursions, as well!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The listing pictures however did not accurately depict what was or was not in the house. For example there were no televisions in the house and the dining room furniture was not as depicted and needed to be updated. For example, the chairs did not match the height of the table and were uncomfortable. The pool was fabulous but the furniture around the pool was not very comfortable. Fernando and Maria were very responsive whenever we needed anything."

"My family had a GREAT stay at Matt's home! The property was just as described. Matt & his wife live next door & are very available for any issues. My son surfs & instead of renting surfboards, he was so gracious to loan him several of his own to use! They are very friendly & accessible. You MUST have a 4x4 to stay at this home safely. We had a 12 passenger van that was supposed to be 4x4 & didn't realize until we had a hard time on the roads that they didn't give us the right van. Matt...

"Five of us stayed for five nights. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home owner supplied us with detailed instructions to get to the house and the property manager was quick to answer all of our questions.It really is a nice secluded property but close to everything we needed. Would stay again. Also, we awoke every morning to the sound of toucans in the trees."

"Amazing property! It is a bit of a drive from San Jose, but well worth it. We saw every animal we were hoping to see right from the patio ( except a sloth ). The house itself was amazing and had everything you would want to feel at home. Wil was quick to respond to every question and request that we had, and everyone on his staff were amazing. Be prepared there are bugs, you’re in the rainforest, but they were some of the coolest things to see. This was a hard place to leave. Thank you Suzanne...

"Casa tropical is a beautiful place filled with the most amazing wildlife. The pool and garden are so peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed watching the birds every morning on the rooftop patio. We had daily monkey visits. I loved this place so much I didn't want to leave. "
