"The property is in a beautiful secluded setting near Forbes State Forest. Beware if GPS tries to take you in on Laurel Tunnel Road off of route 31, all dirt road and very confusing; instead take Short School Road off route 31. The cottage was cozy and the gas fireplace kept the place warm. The hot tub was nice. The toilet occassionally needed the plunger to flush out. The house was relatively clean, but could use a deep cleaning (lots of dead bugs on the windowsills, even on day of arrival). The...

"This cottage was the absolute perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The property was spotless and so inviting. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking. The deck off the creek house was excellent for morning tea. The indoor fireplace was also lovely. The host was so kind and communicated promptly and politely when we had questions. We will definitely be back. "

"We stayed at this property because of it's proximity to some of the places we wanted to visit. Just minutes from Seven Springs and Living Treasures Animal Park. Right next door to Kooser State Park. Many great eating places close by. The inside was very clean with everything you could possibly need. This cabin did have a mildew smell at the time of our visit. We know it's almost impossible to keep moisture out of these old rustic cabins. It didn't hinder our stay though. We have stayed in others...
