"If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. The location is great as well - Mandello is close to everything yet...

Our favorite things: • Great view of Lake Como • Hot tub, pool, and sauna are fantastic amenities • Short walk to downtown Onno & restaurants • Short drive (15 mins) to Bellagio & Lecco • Host was very responsive and welcoming • Beds are comfortable • Parking available If I were to go back to Lake Como, I would absolutely stay here again, any time of year!"

"This villa has an absolutely gorgeous view, on top of the mountain. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show online. It is walking distance away from a few restaurants, the beach, and the ferry in Onno, which makes it a perfect location if you don’t have a car. The interior of the Villa was average: there was no AC (so make sure to confirm that before booking) and the sheets had a stain on it. Also, the place was advertised as private, but we were shocked when we saw the owner’s family...
