Beautiful house and comfortable beds.
This house was wonderful through and through. Beautiful home with everything you need and more. The beds in this house are outstanding for a house on Vrbo. Many other rentals I have stayed in would have mattresses that you would expect to find in a low rate hostel but not this place. I slept like a baby which made this place even better since we were visiting for work and needed to be sharp and well rested. I would highly recommend this property.

Lake House
We had no extra toilet paper, no soap or shampoo. The owner ordered some and told us how to access the extra toilet paper. The kitchen had no coffee, bought some and left it. The kitchen could use some plastic serving bowls ( for chips and dip). The master has no blinds, it did last time we stayed there.

Fabulous
We had a wonderful, amazing, restful stay! We always go on vacation right after Christmas to recover from all the craziness, and this place was just fab. It was large and clean and home-y and just great. Our only suggestion would be to get some un-serrated knives for the kitchen. Everything else was perfect. Absolutely perfect. The owners were kind, the view was spectacular--just perfect.

Fire Lake is for everyone
A week of adventure. The house was amazing and the view is better than advertised. A birders dream with the birdseye view in the trees and close to the water. Just a few minutes from waterfalls and the lake. We rented pontoons on Tims Ford and journeyed to Chatanooga for additional adventures. We ran into some car problems and Stephen helped us find tools and offered to come out and help. After a week we were ready for more. Thanks again.

Beautiful place to relax with family
The home is beautiful and the view is spectacular! We loved being able to relax with room to spread out. The huge dining room table allowed for us all to gather and play many card games and we shared lots of laughter. I loved having morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake. The host was very easy to contact and replied to my questions right away. We would love to come back someday. My husband was able to use the boat and trailer to fish and caught a huge Gar Pike. The Hot Tub was a wonderful way to watch the stunning sunsets! The only improvement would be minor updates in the bathrooms and some hanging space in the master bedroom. This is an amazing place to stay!

Beautiful Sunsets
No one paints a sunset like our Creator and He paints a masterpiece here every evening. We didn’t know much about this area but came to love the beauty of the area. We enjoyed hiking, waterfalls, and lots of great food in this surprisingly pleasant community. We will visit again!

Spectacular lake View home
The house has an amazing view. Beautiful. We were disappointed that there was no trailer as advertised to take canoe/kayaks down to lake. A big part of why we rented this property. Owner said probably too cold but we actually kayaked in cold Michigan a week before our trip, lesson learned to confirm amenities important to you before booking. May have chose different property and may have rented vehicle instead of taking my truck with ball hitch. We could not get out on Normandy Lake ( couldn’t find anywhere to rent a boat but it was still early spring) Rented pontoon on Tim Ford Lake and had a lot of fun . Had some issues but Stephen was quick to respond. Visited over a half dozen waterfalls and a couple caves.got some great pictures. Great place.

A Week of Awesomeness
Our stay was truly excellent! The owner was very kind & responsive. Our time there occurred during a major Christmas storm, & he graciously allowed us to use his Christmas tree & decorations without requiring us to take them down. The amenities (including a yummy snack bucket) were terrific. Even during -2⁰ temps (-23⁰ windchill), the house was extremely comfortable. We all truly enjoyed the stunning lake view and even saw deer! There is also a wonderful kennel, Precious Paws, super close by. All in all, the house & Stephen made our visit with our family amazing & memorable.

Great place and outstanding host.
Rented for family to stay for daughters wedding at a local venue, so we didn’t really get to avail ourselves of all the offerings, but would love to come back to really enjoy the location. The house is amazingly well appointed and the location right on the lake was phenomenal. For our purposes it was more than we’d hoped and our host was gracious and helpful beyond any expectation, but we all agreed that it would have been really spectacular had we been there for a lake vacation.

Extended Family Dreams Fulfilled
It’s a challenge to reduce our week-long family experiences to this space. The beautiful views, the architecture’s mid-century modern vibe and large-group-accommodating layout, plenty of outdoor-indoor seating, in-home recreational options, large kitchen, the quiet neighborhood setting, and proximity to natural sites for hiking, photographing waterfalls, and bouldering led me to select this home for our family. Three generations from VT, AL, TN, GA and MS gathered to celebrate love, family and nature. We took home memories and pictures to treasure for a lifetime. The host was communicative, accessible and considerate from start to finish. High marks for this home in the treetops.

Fire Lake Treasure
This was our second stay at this property and we look forward to returning! The lake views from the deck are breathtaking. We were able to utilize the canoe provided at the house on this trip and had a great time on the lake. Hoping to use the paddle boards with the next visit. We had a question about the dishwasher and the owner contacted us immediately. The home is spotless! I would highly recommend this home!

Fantastic, clean home with lots of activities for kids. We spent most of our time at the house and had endless ways to be entertained. We enjoyed playing pool, ping pong, pickle ball and games. Well stocked house and the owner is very responsive with any needs/concerns you may have. And of course the sunsets were breathtaking. This place is definitely on the repeat list!

We had a great time at the lake house. Sad to say the one evening we made it back in time to see the sun set it was a partly cloudy evening. Guess we have a reason to rent it in the future. With so many great options we usually don't return to same place twice but this was a family favorite so we may return in the future. House was as described.
