"We stayed at Robin’s Nest on our way from Florida to Illinois. This is a lovely cabin, and we really enjoyed it (despite an unusual amount of rainfall for this area, April 2025). Our host was accommodating and responded quickly to my questions. The house is has most everything you’ll need. We would stay again! Things to know: The county is dry so BYOB, there is a DG Market close by, a small grocery store is 15-20 drive away. Because we were road tripping I had a cooler with food supplies so we could cook in.We loved Lakeside Cafe for breakfast (Bonnie & Daryl are great) and Webb’s Roadside Mart/Grill on HWY 78. Seriously the BEST ribeye steak dinner!"

"The house was great. The kitchen was fully stocked. The 4 bedrooms were comfortable. The bathrooms showers were good and there was plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our time there"

"We stayed at the cabin over spring break in March 2025. We enjoyed the cabin's location (riding the ferry to and from Mammoth Caves was a highlight for our kids, age 11 and 8). The cabin's host Frank and dog Cody welcomed us to the property and provided us discs to practice disc golf during our stay. The kids loved practicing near the cabin and playing in the cabin loft. During our trip, we enjoyed cave tours at Mammoth, ziplining and horseback riding at Adventures of Mammoth Cave, lunch at 5 Broke Girls, and a trip to Dinosaur World for our youngest. Overall, a great trip and a wonderful, cozy cabin for our stay :)"

"We had a great stay here while out sightseeing with our kids and dog! Lake is beautiful and our kids loved the yard. Would be awesome to use in the summer when lake is in full swing. "

"My teen sons, my Mom, and I enjoyed the peaceful lake view from the covered deck, making S’mores in the fire pit, and the three spacious bedrooms with personal bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and location close enough to explore Bowling Green & Mammoth Cave. I would stay here again."
