"The house and accommodations are wonderful! I’m sure when there aren’t floods and high waters, the lake is beautiful too. My daughter loved the loft room that is spacious and great for a pre-teen! We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy some cave tours and hiking at Mammoth Cave. The unfortunate flooding caused closures in the parks our last day. . We would definitely return!!"

"We stayed at Robin’s Nest on our way from Florida to Illinois. This is a lovely cabin, and we really enjoyed it (despite an unusual amount of rainfall for this area, April 2025). "My husband and I stayed a few days with our teens and dog. The property is beautiful! We all enjoyed hiking over the 75 acres. The self made map was so helpful. Our tween daughter was our navigator on our hike and managed the map easily. Our dog loved the freedom of exploring with us. We did manage to make it to Mammoth Cave and it was a fun trip. Spent the rest of our short trip grilling and playing games. Definitely recommend! "

"Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place."
