It was good as we all had our own individual cottages with kitchens, living rooms and bathroom which gave us our own space but the communal area is the Hall was being enough when we wanted to be together. "Lovely spot; and as I stayed at the accommodation all day it was lovely to watch the animals and the changing skies over the sea. I did lots of drawing! The accommodation is very well equipped. The drive up the hill is a little hairy - glad we were in a robust vehicle! Barmouth is a small seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes."

"Everything was beautiful and the cottage was more than efficient. The only things we had problems with were the directions for finding it locally and the washer/dryer all in one! As Californians, this was new to us and we had no idea it would take so long for a load of clothes! We are learning… Thanks to the owner who was unfortunately out of town so we did not get to meet."
