"We were in Kakamega for work and during the weekend we moved to Rondo. This is a lovely and peaceful place, with an enchanting park were it is possible to see monkeys and listen to the songs of a variety of birds. We appreciated a lot the meals (I've asked for vegetarian meals and they was excellent) and the tea with a delicious piece of cake in the afternoons, taken directly to our small but beautiful cottage, despite the rain."

"The best part about this lodge is it’s location. Sitted inside a wildlife park AND by the shores of Lake Victoria. The best of two worlds. The staff were also extra attentive and very courteous. I had a genuinely great time."

The staff are very accommodating and tried hard to address any issue that arose. Specifically, the restaurant took a long time to prepare food but that it is because each meal is 'made to order'. It took nearly an hour to receive my soup order, but I when it finally came, I could tell it was made fresh and was absolutely delicious. The next evening, I placed my dinner order...
