First off: if you arrive by var, there is an entire gated area belonging to the hotel where you can park your car in the shade of olive tree (most hotels in this area only offer right spots which are difficult to get in and out). We were lucky enough that the only room left was superior double (room 22, 3rd floor) and was blown away by the view from the balcony, the photos do not do it justice! "The junior suite has an amazing lake view, comfortable bed (best of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy), large spa tub, and is very spacious. The property is beautiful and well maintained and truly takes you out of the city. There’s an awesome terrace on the roof with a comfortable hot tub. The breakfast buffet is also very expansive and there were some great dinner options too. The restaurant also overlooks the lake. "Only stayed for one night enroute to Tuscany but it was just lovely. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Although the kitchen had closed we were offered some lite bites, which were perfect, as was our table by the side of the lake. Before retiring we enjoyed a promenade along the lake and breakfast the following morning was plentiful - great omelettes. "
