"We had a great few days at the Pescadores suites hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was good. The hotel is very conveniently located to Pangasama beach and restaurants and a short walk into town. The snorkeling right off the hotel premises was excellent also. Woukd highly recommend."

"The hotel must update what is being posted on the internet. They should specify what are anemities the included so that the customer wont expect too much from them. They should have toiletries and easy access to their internet. It won't reach every room since the area is elevated. They have posted about their jacuzzi, however it is not functioning when we get there. Otherwise, They have very accommodating staff most especially their security. The view is truly a paradise. You can truly apply the adage of the great view comes after the hardest climb.😂😂 It's too steep yet very worth it."

"Oh the Casablanca, we loved you! The hotel is built recently, brand new. They have just added a beautiful pool and it is lovely. I only say this because from the photos it looks like an old classic which I love, but the amenities are brand new which is AWESOME. We stayed both on the main floor and the second floor and we preferred the second floor. Abigail and the entire staff are super great, friendly and kind. They have brand new scooters for rent for a very good price and we used them a lot. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the Sardine run. This is away from the busy hostel area which is ideal for us. We extended our stay here because we wanted more time in the area. 2-3 days is perfect. We will come here again. Thanks also to the lovely Raquel. See you soon John and Jho"

"Beautiful resort right on the water- you can wade out and snorkel! Restaurant overlooks water. Super friendly staff. They accommodated our early Canyoneering excursion by offering either breakfast to go or to have it when we got back (when breakfast time had past!). A 5 minute walk takes you to beach area where you can wade in a snorkel to see sardines and sea turtles! "

"Loved our stay at Eden Resort, we stayed in room 7, they have 10 large well appointed rooms, with large spacious balconies, each with a panoramic view of the ocean, rooms are clean, nicely furnished, with a comfy bed, sitting area, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, however the water pressure wasn't very good and the shelves both in the shower and over the sink were useless as they sloped. The restaurant was comfy with a nice view and food was tasty. The pool was sparkling clean and a lovely place to chill out.The staff were very friendly and helpfull and arranged transport to Oslob to dive with the Whale sharks. This hotel rightly receives high review scores, as it is a great place to spend a few quiet days chilling out, however, we were rather shocked to find they have recently opened a Techno Bar just above the resort, every Saturday they hold a Techno Rave party and blast out the duf duf music until at least midnight, not at all in keeping with the quiet ambience, so just be aware if you are visiting on a Saturday, ask for room 7 to 10 which arent as affected by the noise."

"We had an enjoyable stay at D'Gecko Hotel. The location was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. Regarding the slippers to be used in the room - we thought this was a good idea to avoid common areas getting sandy/dirty - however we just wish they'd provided larger sizes of slippers!"
