"Ella green är ett fantastiskt litet ställe dit du tar dig efter en liten uppförsbacke. Vi hade utsikt över skogen med mycket fåglar och några apor. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och bjöd på en god frukost med allt för mycket mat. 10 minuters promenad var vi nere i centrum med affärer restauranger vi stannade 2 nätter och är mycket nöjda med tanke på priset. "Do not book this place, photos are fake, this place is empty of guests, under construction, dangerous & dirty. It is miles from anything & they told us that they are unlicenced meaning there is no food, alcohol & no transport to take you to anywhere. I will be contacting Expedia about a refund & removal from its site. Expedia has a responsibility to ensure other travellers are not cheated out of their money. "Amazing time at Ella Retreat, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is located a short drive away from Ella city, which is a bit sketchy at times heading up the mountain (but exhilarating). Being away with nature was great, be sure to visit the nearby waterfall! "

"The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property.
