"Saku Boutique Homestay is a delightful B&B that brings together both Thai and French motifs. We just returned again from a 2 week stay ( we have been there 3 times now) and highly recommend the experience to those desiring a safe, comfortable and charming place in a village just outside of Chiang Mai, without the typical institutional hotel setting. "Amazing place in the jungle. We did the elephant wake up, the day with the elephants and trip to Doi Inthanon. The elephants were incredible, the highlight of our trip. The restaurant was fantastic...some of the best food we had. Breakfast had lots of choice too. The room was very basic and there was a distinct drain smell in our room. However, it was worth it for the once in a lifetime experience. "

"The property is beautiful. Room was nice but dark with only 2 windows. Staff very pleasant. Expedia site incorrect on services. No made to order breakfast. The 1st 2 days was a buffet and I am vegan so I had toast, fruit and coffee then had plain rice or french fries for dinner. No tour services or info. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, dogs barking and roosters crowing all times of day. The close proximity to mae klang waterfall made for a nice walk and great place to have lunch along the riverfront. "
