"Due to some mix up, I was assigned a room that hadn't been fully cleaned. When contacted via phone the concierge was quick to re-assign me to a different room which was fully satisfactory in cleanliness. Included two small bottles of water, and two pods for the coffee maker. There was no iron / ironing board available to press shirts for business, and I found the pillows on the bed were excessively large. Maybe thin pillows would be available from the concierge, but I didn't think to ask....

"There is good and bad. The good - my colleague and I had questions/issues with supplies and a coffee maker and the numa team helped us very quickly! The bad - The mattress was so soft that I got a terrible backache the whole trip. I ended up putting the ironing board on top of the mattress and sleeping on it. "I was weary of booking this hotel because of the lack of reviews but I stayed here for 3 months while working in Germany and enjoyed it so much I recommended it to my colleague to book as well. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful with any questions. The man who works the breakfast room remembered on my 3rd day what I would want to eat and cooked it without asking. Being able to open your doors and look out at the river was my favorite part and it's a very nice, safe area....

"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...
