"peaceful location. lovely villa. had sky tv. our villa had a washing line but no washing machine, which would have been handy. wifi not great so made booking next stage of our road trip hard. nice touch having hot tub for guests to use. hosts really easy to contact. would recommend but with caveats about washing machine and wifi."

"We have stayed in 6 hotels. Ashley Hotel was the second. With the water problem in Greymouth an excellent idea would be to provide bottled water in each room. The Elms in Christchurch did that and they did not have a water problem. The fridge was too stacked full of alcohol to be able to add any stuff of ours. The handbasin had a hair dryer burn in it which was not a good look. "
