"Booked as a one night around a week away near Montbard. Amazing place and could have stayed longer. Great self contained space where you could easily spend a week. Got there late with delays so having food and wine we could buy when everything was closed was brilliant. Stay here it is everything it looks and more"

"Great place, great location, great price and great host. That says it all!"

"A lovely apartment with all facilities. Private secure off road parking. Small patio garden to the front of the property which is fenced and secure for dogs. Helene is very responsive to requests for information and met us at the property to show us how everything worked. No bakery in the village but there is one on nearby Maigny, which is walkable. Convenient location for Chablis and Auxerre. Would be very happy to stay there again."

"This property is in a renovated old building in the village of Vermenton. It is clean and functional. In some ways it is a bit basic. We had to search to find soap and body wash. We did find an almost empty bottle of Axe. The washing machine was appreciated as we did a quick load and dried them on the heated towel rack since the dryer was not plugged in."

"Amandine thought of every detail to make the guest stay enjoyable, including the two terry cloth bath robes dans la salle de bain! Loved the closeness to the city center and five minute walk to free city parking lot, boulangerie and restaurants. Kitchen amenities and washer-dryer are a plus."

"We had to change the locaation for an unknown reason but the accommodation was very good. Theaccess to the city was excellent and the city wasitself was lovely."

"We were all buzzing around with excitement at this property when we arrived. The kids thought it was incredible! It's such an old building, full of history and not spoiled in its renovation, it was still so characterful. The kids loved that we restricted the flow of the water at night to quieten it down, and then released it every morning - we got lucky as the water wheel does not always turn but we got some movement out of it! The house is rustic, and not full of mod-cons, but it had pretty...

"We were very happy with the offering at this hotel, we were able to secure a room for Friday night on short notice. The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. After a change of shift overnight, the staff continued to be friendly and engaging with the customers. The room is as advertised, everything is comfortable and clean. Very acceptable level of quality, it is not fancy or boutique yet it is a very high value offering for the price point. We had the breakfast, that was as advertised with a good variety on offer, much more than a simple continental breakfast. I would return here again anytime. "

"It was a wonderful hotel and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late and no parking was available we had to park in a public lot about 2 blocks away. We had dinner our first night and were disappointed with the limited menu and they seems to be short staff. We think because no place in Chablis is open on Sunday night, everyone in town was eating at the hotel. We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked fabulous. That said, we did have a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. "
