"We stayed in a 4 room villa in the hotel, with a dry kitchen and a sizable pool in the villa. It was walking distance to the beach. Would have been better if there are beach chairs on the beach. Most of the guests were at the pool, but all the beach chairs were full. The customer service at the hotel was good, staff were friendly. We can call a buggy to get to the splash jungle or to go to the breakfast hall. It was a really good stay for the family. "

"Nice property, a little old but rooms were big and it was well maintained. A little big for my taste, many guests and some noise but overall a nice place. I think there are better deals for the money however. "

"I mean the villas for that price and beach access was great. Only issue would be they may need to do some maintenance around the property - for example our door was difficult opening & closing due to a part of the wood getting stuck. Location is truly For those who want to be in their own bubble everything else is about 20-30 mins from resort. Staff was incredible but felt bad that they were short staffed possibly due to the time of season we were there? "

"A very quiet beach compared to Patong beach with its numerous jet skis, parasailing etc but also less dining options and nightlife of course."

"Maikhao hotel was in a convenient location…less than a mile from Maikhao beach and with plenty of dining options in the vicinity. The property was clean, but older and they were low staff - no bell man. Nonetheless, it is safe and clean enough for families."

"Hotel is an easy 2 minute walk from the airport. It was quiet, with blackout curtains. 7/11 round the corner. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was good. Simple, basic room - perfect for getting off a long flight."

"The staff was wonderfully, going so far as to include us in a birthday party celebration for one of there staff. Asked about our days plans in the morning and asked in the evening how it was. The cabins are air c9ndioned and clean. We had our own bathroom. The food was top notch as were the drinks. They made sure we had fresh bottled water everyday.
