"The Mora Zanzibar is an excellent hotel. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of small issues. First the room cleaning service was mediocre. The additional services are pricey. The staff at the Horizon was amazing which made the stay that more enjoyable. They offer a variety of restaurants but you need to book through the app prior to arriving others you may be out of luck. Overall great stay and I would recommend to family and friends. "

"We liked the place. Room was great etc. The elevator is funky, requiring patrons to fully close cage door when exiting. If not done properly, others can't use. Otherwise, the place was great."

"Hotel is situated right in the heart of stone town, close to everything. Felt very safe. The hotel had a boutiquey feel to it. Rooms were lovely, space to hang out and unwind was nice. Good food options if you don’t want to go out"

"From our first arrival we were greeted with cool towels and warm smiles. The staff is amazing!! Esther at the front desk was very accommodating on our last day- our flight wasn't until late at night so got a lovely extra late check out. The food each day was prepared fresh and most delicious! Our room was the honeymoon suite which including a private pool and the maintenance guy always made sure to clean our pool as well.
