"it was nice on the inside, but the outside was complete opposite. There were dining options but of the 3 places we went, they were all subpar. Dont get me started with the hotel, they charged you everything they could. They charged a $10 fee for "losing" a hand towel that was in the hotel room... Why would i steal a hand towel. The people were nice but would never return to DR, let alone this suite"

"We stayed at barefoot with 21 friends to celebrate my husband’s 50th. Ben and Nina were truly incredible with their quick responses and information needed to plan for such a large group. "Lovely, but too many "buy this" vendors on the beach. Also, not all amenities were available as indicated...asking for a $50 USD deposit to play pool. We would return only because the staff were very nice and its not a crazy party place."

"Excellent place to stay in Cabarete. We appreciated the quietness while being surrounded by plenty of tropical plants and flowers. Does not have all the bells and whistles but I can honestly say, my wife and I did not need it. Accommodations were more than adequate. No dining available but you can walk to plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach. El Magnifico was a hidden gem because after a day on the beach/town, you felt like you was coming back to your private haven. "

"Very cute, waterfront property. Small beach area, but if you walk around the corner there is a large beach with many restaurants and bars. Felt very safe leaving the hotel and walking down the beach for drinks. Ate at the restaurant on property, food was delicious and wait staff were professional. Recommend for a long weekend or quiet stay"
