"Great base for a holiday. Right outside the house you have the river, turn left and you've got the Mediterranean Sea and gorgeous beaches. If you cross the river you've got even more beaches! 30 yards from the front door you have great restaurants and a bar, but it's not noisy at night :) Round the corner from the house you have the daily supermarket and more bars and restaurants. Again it's not noisy :) Downside to the lighthouse cottage is that it's tight in space........but considering...

"Cons first. The picture shown is the property we booked but we ended up in the (slightly) smaller one next door. (An occurrence that apparently has happened before). We knew it had a mezz floor bedroom when we booked it but it proved to be too hard to access and the ceiling height made it very claustrophobic to use. The bathroom is very small.
