"Great base for a holiday. Right outside the house you have the river, turn left and you've got the Mediterranean Sea and gorgeous beaches. If you cross the river you've got even more beaches! 30 yards from the front door you have great restaurants and a bar, but it's not noisy at night :) Round the corner from the house you have the daily supermarket and more bars and restaurants. "Cons first. The picture shown is the property we booked but we ended up in the (slightly) smaller one next door. (An occurrence that apparently has happened before). "The apartment is beautifully situated and was clean and airy. The only downsides were the A/C unit in the living room not running cold and it was very hot and we were met by a lovely lady who couldn’t speak any English at all, and I don’t speak a lot of French. And she was trying to get safety deposit cash from me which wasn’t mentioned in the booking, which I believe said no hidden fees."

"First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"This was a very disappointing stay. The host did not meet us as Planned. She sent a man to let us in And gave us the keys, but Did not speak any English. We were Left without explanation of how things worked in the apartment… I was shocked to find that there were no sheets or towels in the apartment. Fortunately, we had a friend who lived Near so we were able to borrow some from her. We were so uncomfortable. We had to leave a day early."
