"It was good, for the social part that is. It’s a good place to meet people but I wouldn’t stay longer than a week here tops. You get bored of the atmosphere and drinking all the time digs into your money and you don’t want to do a lot the next day. Overall it was pretty good, met some nice people. But it is a party hostel. "

"Awesome location near Nimman but a quieter area. Free tea and coffee and very basic breakfast and can get very good chicken and rice for breakfast across the street for 35 baht. Tony is very helpful and a good guy. Very comfortable beds as well."

"Really disappointed in this stay. Booked it as it was described as a party hostel but it’s absolutely not. Better off going down the road to a competitor. Really poor hostel with no curtains on beds! "

"If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. But for the price you can’t complain! I would...

"We booked a private room with bathroom. The room is in an Annex building not at the main building. Room was of a good size and was very clean. The location of the property is great and you can walk easily everywhere from there. "

"10/10. Hobnob Hostel embodies Thai hospitality at it’s finest. Most notably, the staff in reception and at the cafe during breakfast - were always pleasant and incredibly helpful. They offer complimentary snacks & water, and their avocado toast was delicious! Thank you for the wonderful stay! :)"

"Nice and quiet hostel. Very comfortable beds. It was the first time I shared a double bed with my partner in a hostel dorm room but it awesome and went super well. Everyone was super nice. Also the location is perfect. "

"It was a great value; the mattress was hard but comfortable, and the privacy curtains were great. I stayed in the women's dorm. When I first booked online, they made a weird comment about not renting to anyone over 40 (because of stairs), though it was only one flight. The vibe at the hostel was offputting, though. "We really enjoyed the industrial design of this location. The patient and friendly staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious every morning. The recommendations that all of the staff gave us were phenomenal. Matty was amazing, Patty gave us a solid Thai Massage recommendation. And Nathan showed us around the market near the university. If you are looking for a overall relaxed environment, with social events if you choose to do them, this is a great spot."

Clean hotel and good location.

"Nice clean hotel with good sized room. It was great to have a nice pool to cool off in the afternoon after seeing the sites. The room was clean and the hotel offered the choice of not having the cleaning staff in every day. As a single person in the room I did not need the room cleaned every day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near a main road in the old town and a good place for pick up for day tours. It is close to restaurants and easy walking to several tourist sites."
