"As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. The home itself was very clean and cozy with all the comforts needed. Located very close to town with shopping center, restaurants, etc. The children loved exploring the levadas and trails, and especially loved the peacocks!
