SCAM!!
This hotel does not exist! We went to the address and we found a hotel called Adventure House. We were a group of 7 people ( 3 kids); we had booked and paid two rooms one month before arrival. The hotel staff tried to lie to us by sending us off somewhere else. Eventually they confessed that this USED TO BE Green Nature hotel but the previous owner took off! We got the tourist police in Aguas Calientes involved as well! A total mess! Long story short- stay away from Green Nature OR Adventure House ( on Expedia they are listed under the same address).

Don't book. This hotl doesn't exist anymore
We arrive at the address and we were informed that the hotel doesn't exist since July 20th. It's a different hotel and they don't have access to any of the reservatios of the previous hotel. So don't book this hotel.

IT WAS A NIGHTMARE, THE HOTEL DOESNT EVEN EXIST ANYMORE, I GOT THERE AT NIGHT AND IN THE ADRESS THERES HOTEL WITH OTHER NAME, THEY SAY THEY CHANGED THE NAME OF THE HOTEL AND EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ALREADY PAYED EVERYTHING THEY WOULDNT LET ME IN. I DIDNT HAVE ANY MORE TO PAY BECAUSE THIS WAS ALREADY PAID. EXPEDIA WAS A MESS WITH THE ASSISTANCE, ONE OF MY WORST EXPERIENCIES, ABSOLUTELY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE HOTEL AND SPECIALLY WITH EXPEDIA.

Next to the train station
Great mountain views, next to the trainstayin. Great, attentive staff, good breakfast! The only bad thing is the noise from the train station, they stop at 1100pm. So if you want to rest in the day, it is noisy. But, why would you like to rest if you are in Machu Picchu!!

Not clean or friendly
Not clean, towels were dirty, staff was not welcoming or helpful, breakfast was terrible (only instant coffee and not much choice of food), wifi did not reach rooms (as advertised), they treated our guide terrible and made him wait several hours to get us our Machu Picchu tickets.

Nice hotel in Mira Flores
I was only one night there, I was returning from Cusco but for me was perfect, the room and the bathroom were clean, you can go at night to the mall walking. The breakfast was fine. For the price I think is a good choice.

Nice hotel near Machu Picchu railway station
The hotel is right next to the railway station. Friendly staff and they gave us breakfast at 4.30AM as we requested. We stayed there just for 1 night and it worked great for us.

Home Like Home is the perfect location for going to Machu Picchu. Right outside our window across the train station is an amazing mountain. What an spectacular view first thing in the morning! The staff was very nice. They met us at the train station to take us to the hotel. Breakfast was served very early so that we could go up to Machu Picchu early. Located down the street from a great market. If you are looking for souvenirs this is the place to go. I would definitely stay at Home Like Home again. It was a very pleasant stay.

Comfortable Stay!
It was okay. Hotel is run down a little, but that seems to be the norm in the village. The rooms were comfortable and clean, which is what counts for me. The employees were helpful and nice.

Not a very nice room
This hotel was convenient, had a good breakfast and a friendly accommodating staff. However, I was disappointed with the room which was designed for "families". It lacked adequate lighting to read anything and electrical outlets weren't working to plug in charger, etc. Disappointing.

First timer in Machupicchu
The service staff was great, they were helpful in answering all our questions and provided really good recon factions. The breakfast is ok and the room was reasonable for the price, location was walking distance from the train and the artisanal market.

Good location but Noisy
The town is close to Machu Picchu and so many people will stay just about anywhere for the night in this town. We picked this place because it seemed like a good location and there were decent reviews. The room was pretty decent, but not really up to a 3* standard. It was pretty clean, the furniture was pretty decent, and it did have sat TV which was interesting since they had ESPN and other stuff. The location was in fact quite good too. However, that location comes at a price since you are close to the train and the windows are extremely thin single-pane and the train pumps a lot of pollution into your room if the window is open. You do get a free breakfast which was pretty solid and included breads, fruits, juices, and eggs cooked the way you like them. The toilet also broke during the 1 night stay. Plumbing is not Peru's strong suit, but the toilet could barely handle liquid. However, for a night to crash en route or after Machu Picchu, this place is suitable.

Disappointing
We stayed at this hotel just for one night so we could get to MP first thing in the morning the next day. Upon arriving we noticed that the room was dated and dingy. We had a triple room with some sort of construction view (unfinished?) and also had a window facing the corridor with a curtain so short that anybody could see inside our room. Again, it was just one night, we would be up at 4 am . However, by 12:30am a large group of teenager students after drinking were gathered outside of our room by a lounge area , talking loud, laughing, slamming doors . We asked them to please keep it down, but no cooperation . After 20 minutes or so, my husband had to go downstairs to find out that their teacher and some other students were chatting by the reception and could be heard on the fourth floor .After an unpleasant conversation with the teacher he then tried to quiet them down for another hour and a half .We only were able to fall asleep past 3am. We were very disappointed with the inaction of the hotel staff (Pavel). Nothing great to say about the breakfast, as well .We wouldn't recommend this hotel .

Actually Closer to the train station than you thin
It is literally next to the train station but it is at the end of the road. We had a hard time finding it. I would generally be generous with my rating but considering how much we paid, I think that we should have a better hotel and service. The room was alright looking. I wouldn't be so critical if it was priced accordingly. I guess since is was in a tourist attraction they could hike their prices.

Never again.
Reached there in the evening after visiting Machu Pichu. Was shocked at the first sight of the room. Had to go and find another hotel and move my family. At the reception met two other families from our tour group and when they saw the room they followed me to a new hotel. Have never been so wrong about a hotel from your website.
