There was an issue for a day and half where our master shower was not working due to a missing piece so our family of five needed to use the smaller unit. Not a problem but just inconvenience. I had to be proactive in this communication but after the owner personally called and wanted to make sure the unit issue was addressed. They did get then handy man to come and fix it. "My adult children and I had a wonderful stay at Vista Colina. The home is in a peaceful rural area with gorgeous views in every direction. Jeff & Judith made every effort to make us feel welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed the home with its very clean and spacious areas, and lovely yard with the pool. "First the POSITIVE: Beautiful home with an incredible view. Lots of space, wonderful furnishings. Local managers are responsive and helpful when we asked about pool temperature (too cold to use most days), beach towels (locked up and unavailable), bike condition (broken and un usable). Note the listing also indicates a clothes dryer is available - but is is not functional. The NEGATIVE: "Musty, stale smell" (from the basement presumably) so penetrates the house that the smell is always present....

"This is a stunning property with the most amazing views. My only reservation is that it has no air conditioning nor bug screens on the patio doors. The villa is surrounded by countryside greenery and therefore there are quite a lot of flies as a result. We found that if we left the doors open to try to stay cool, we were giving them a free invitation. To make the property just perfect in every way, either air con or screens would do the trick as it’s a beautiful spot."
