If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. A pleasant farm, everything neat and tidy, a good breakfast. You'll have to drive to the nearest town to find a pub.

A gem set in wonderful Cheshire country side with
I use this when I need to stay close to Manchester and Liverpool. Railway station at Chelford, 2 miles down the road, is ideal if you want to get to these city centres but don't want the drive. trains not that frequent but it works well if you look at the time table. Free parking at Chelford railway station.

Home from home...
This farmhouse B&B was excellent, the accommodation being in a large house about 100 yards from the farmhouse where breakfast was served. Our large double bed room was very comfortable with a large ensuite bathroom - shame the shower wasn't a bit more powerful, but that was the main negative. We weren't troubled by road noise but rooms closer to the busy main road said they were disturbed. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit salad and a good fried breakfast on offer, but no decaff coffee.

Country setting
The welcome from the owner was very welcoming. The room was comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was clean. The cooked breakfast was made to order and was lovely. As we were seated with other guests around a dining room table it made for a friendly chat at breakfast! the setting is rural, which suited us, but maybe wouldn't suit everyone.
