"Not so good is related to the limitation for the swimming pool. We were not enough satisfied. However, the suite was clean and well isolated noise free. Warm welcome and all the staff was friendly and professional. "

"All the staff we met were very helpful & seemed genuinely interested in us & wanting to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could. The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time. "

"Initial impressions of the hotel are great. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. A few negatives are that the floor in my room was dirty - could feel grit and dirt on my feet throughout, the breakfast was a little cold, and bathroom was a little grubby around the skirting boards (room 32). Breakfast dish was eggs Benedict - the muffin did not taste toasted at all and whole dish was a too cold. I would recommend staying here as all-in-all it was a good overnight stay."

"Another fantastic stay at The Godolphin for us! The staff are so welcoming, warm and gracious from the receptionists to housekeeping and the dining staff. They’re so accommodating and welcoming of our children, which is so lovely. The food is divine; I especially enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi and pork belly and my husband loved the fish and chips and chocolate fondant. ". The inn is only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 15 minutes from the sea front. The rooms were spotless and there was plenty of toiletries and tea, biscuits etc provided. We managed to get something to eat there on the first night despite it being busy and near closing time for the kitchen. It was also nice to have a nightcap in the bar before a two minute walk up the stairs to bed. We shall definitely make this a regular stop off when passing through Penzance. "
