"My husband & I stayed with our son-in-law and his 2 boys. Both boys have a form of muscular dystrophy called Freidriech’s Ataxia and are in wheelchairs. They needed a weekend in nature and the cabin in Pleasant Valley fit the bill. We had to navigate a few stairs but all in all the environment was perfect. Marty, the on-site property manager, was very friendly & responsive. "

"Beautiful view from the porch but that is where our good experience ended. The first thing that happened was mouse feces covering the entire lower level of the house. Description of queen bed/futon was inaccurate. It was a pull out sofa covered in mouse feces. Air mattress had a hole in it so we had to go buy one just to have space for our kids to sleep. No Air conditioning at all. It was 90+ degrees F when we were there so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The floors were very dirty and...

"The property was amazing and had so many fun things to do. It’s in a beautiful location and we had some bear visitors the first night. So amazing to see!! Host was wonderful to communicate with and was always available. Would definitely rent again. "

" We wanted to see a moose and did we ever!!! Our afternoon Walk along the water about 30 feet from us a huge moose enjoying some tree leaves we stayed away on our walk home.
