"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."

"The property was great and as pictured. Overall clean. Lots of firewood provided! Great views. However, there were conflicting instructions online vs the instructions in the house. I tried to message/text the host but never received a response. The garbage cans were supposed to be in the garage but were actually all the way down the end of the road (1/3 mile but uphill on the way back."

"I wish we could’ve stayed another day or two but we had lots of fun and the cabin was a beautiful home and property. The big windows and porch areas were great for morning coffee with a book."

"The house is intentionally designed to host groups of people, generously equipped with 4 bathrooms (3 showers) and has a great kitchen, 2 patios and a back yard for outdoor gathering. The views of the Gorge and Mt Hood are great. We had a few minor maintenance issues and didn't get a response from the host but overall we had a great stay and would stay again."

"We loved staying in this house. The setup worked well for me and my 3 sisters. Loved seeing the view of Mt Hood and the Columbia River! We also really enjoyed going to the close by farm that has zebras, giraffes, camels, and more. This house isn’t far from a bridge to cross over and go to The Dalles and also Hood River. Beautiful area to visit!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this mountain retreat. We took our dog and it’s hard to say if we or he enjoyed the property more. 25 secluded acres to wander with little paths all over. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for relaxing and light cooking. We were gifted with 5 inches of snow overnight on our second full day and it was magical to wake up to.
