"Extremely slow to serve drink and food. Ordering two sandwiches before 12:00 pm and specifically asking to be ready before 12:30 pm in order to catch a long distance bus on time, only one sandwich was ready at 12:45 pm and forgot to make the second one. The second one was ready at 1:05 pm after complaining several times."

"Beautifully decorated, spacious… every need considered (just bring your nespresso coffee capsules if you will get in late). Finally a place with enough towels, blankets and space for everything. The place is perfectly maintained. The pool was a joy both and the beginning and end of each day. The walk to the village and the beach and all restaurants is easy. But the neighbourhood is quiet. And Lagos is close by for more of a city atmosphere/shopping. So many beaches and «must see» sites...

"Our stay at Casa da Luz was perfect! Everything was so clean and when we got there it exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do the views or villa justice, it’s just breathtaking. Perfect location, it was quiet and away from the busier areas but just a short walk into the town of Praia da Luz and a short car ride into Lagos. The game room was a big hit with our family at the end of every night and we were happy we booked a place that had one. All of the staff were delightful and so kind...

"Clean, spacious, comfortable (party of five) and reasonably well equipped. Decent pool and adequate garden that was well maintained. Only issues were tiny inadequate BBQ, no pool towels and no mirrors in two of the three bedrooms. The small issues could be rectified at little cost and would enhance the experience, hence the overall score."

"We loved our stay in this villa. It was very clean and private. It’s an older house so it can smell moldy if you don’t open windows from time to time. But such a gorgeous view! Not for the people looking to party and get drunk. It’s a traditional, artistic, respectable space. The response time by the property managers was a little slow, but they did fulfill all needs.
