"This guesthouse is in a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views of the nearby temple complex and quaint village life. However this place has many drawbacks. First of all it is very hard to find; no taxi driver knows where it is and there isn’t even a sign. Second, we had two rooms and neither shower worked. "I had a lovely stay and was treated like a princess by Mahmoud every time my meals were served, meals so large it was impossible to eat it all Massive room and great air conditioning and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to the main tourist historic sites . My luggage was damaged and a repair service was used to get me back to Cairo and onwards back to Dunfermline, Scotland "
